Named Close Up Magician of the Year, Jon Armstrong's amazing close-up skills and comedy have brought him numerous awards and nominations throughout his career.

Jon has also worked on many films and television shows such as "The Mentalist" and "Spiderman 3" as a magic consultant and designer, and is co-creator of the IDW comic series Smoke and Mirrors.

Jon now lives in Los Angeles and is a frequent performer at the world famous Magic Castle. His TV appearances as a talk show guest, featured performer or actor, include shows like NBC's "The Today Show", "Magic Castle After Dark" on A&E, USA's "Ready For The Weekend", Fox's "Masters of Illusion" and ABC's "Bachelorette" He has been featured in trade publications like Magic, The Linking Ring, MUM and other magic journals worldwide. Stories have been done on him in The New York Times, LA Magazine and Harpers, just to name a few.
