Standing By...Tammy Wynette

Renaissance Theatre is proud to present the new musical, Standing By…Tammy Wynette, playing for one weekend only on Renaissance Theatre's Alpha Stage downstairs. Featuring Decatur native, Annaliese Canada as Tammy and Kimberly Stone as Donna Chapel. Barry Norwood is the musical director.

Several songs made famous by Tammy Wynette and George Jones will be performed amoung the 26 songs in the show. Standing By…, written by Robert Riddle Baker, is based on the true story of Donna Chapel, who at the age of 14 sang harmony and toured with Wynette who became her stepmother in 1967.
