American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sean Thomas Gerard was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and currently resides in Wilmington, NC. He's spent the last six years touring with Onward, Soldiers and has released two albums with the band on Winoca Records. Critically celebrated 2010's "Ghosts in this Town" is a compelling blend of unadulterated rock and haunting prose. While 2012's "Monsters" delivers the unexpected twists and turns of cleverly-crafted musicianship mixed with devilish style and endearing lyricism. Their third album, “Daydreamer” is expected to release in the fall of 2015. Sean was featured on the show One Tree Hill, has played various music festivals around the country including CMJ, SXSW, 35 Denton and Hopscotch, had his song "Let The Time Roll By" on the compilation CD "Gasoline Rainbows" by Vagrant Records, and was featured on Nashville's Music City Roots. He also can be seen on PBS's Sun Sessions, filmed at Sun Studio in Memphis.
When performing solo, Sean's songs are stripped bare, exposing his keen sense of melody and songwriting craftsmanship. He delivers his songs with great intensity and undeniable sincerity. His catchy, yet haunting tunes, chocked full of dreamy lyrics and clever observations, will stick with you for days. He can sing you to sleep, or wake you from the dead with his dynamic vocal stylings. Sean’s first solo release, titled “Great Unknown” is set to release in August of 2015.
