Ramspur Winery Calistoga Half-Mile presented by Triumph postponed due to wildfires

CALISTOGA, Calif. (September 16, 2015) - The Ramspur Winery Calistoga Half-Mile presented by Triumph, previously scheduled on Sept. 26 as Round 13 of the 2015 AMA Pro Flat Track schedule, has been postponed due to the California wildfires. Calistoga Speedway is located at the Napa County Fairgrounds, which are being used as an evacuation center for those displaced by the fires.

"For now, our immediate thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost their homes and had their lives turned upside down by this fire," said Terry Otton, on behalf of the event promotion team. "The management of the Napa County Fairgrounds and Calistoga city officials have assured us that they will do all they can to help us find a date to reschedule."

"We echo Terry's sentiments," said Michael Gentry, Chief Operating Officer of AMA Pro Racing. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the residents of the Napa region during this difficult time."

Discussions are ongoing between the promoters of the event and city officials regarding the rescheduling of the race. The new event date will be released as soon as it is established.

Reserved seats are bench/bleacher type seating that offers a nostalgic race experience in an intimate setting. The Covered Grandstand Reserved seats are located between the Start/Finish Line and the First Turn; they offer great first turn and full track viewing. The Uncovered Grandstand Reserved seats are located between the Start/Finish Line and Turn Four; they offer full track viewing and exciting action coming out of the last turn as the riders dash to the Finish Line. These great reserved seats come with full infield access to the event for a spectacular fan experience!!


Premium Grandstand Seating


At the height of both Main Grandstands, these select reserved seats are bench/bleacher type seating that offers the best view of the entire Calistoga Half Mile racing surface. Located at the Top 5 rows of both main grandstands on both sides of the start finish line, these premium rows offer great first turn and full track viewing. These premium seats will include full infield access to the event for the ultimate fan experience!!
