2025 Excellence in Nursing Nominations

Hudson Valley Magazine is proud to pay tribute to the area’s top Nurses and Nursing Administrators in our May issue and at the 2025 Excellence in Nursing Awards Dinner, coinciding with National Nurses Week.

This elegant evening honors local nurses & administrators who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, nominated by their supervisors and selected by a panel of judges. The event features cocktails, three-course sit down dinner, live music and awards presentation.

Criteria for nomination:

• RNs and LPNs (full- or part-time)


• Nursing Administrator


• Made a significant impact on patient care


• Gone "beyond the call of duty"


• Demonstrated Excellence


• Shown commitment to the community served


• Achieved life-long professionalism

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 6pm  EXTENDED TO JANUARY 24, 2025 at 5PM!

Important details:

• Hudson Valley Magazine’s Excellence in Nursing Awards Advisory Committee reserves the right to decline a nomination if the nurse does not meet the basic criteria.


• Nomination must be made by a nurse's superior


• The first 100 nominations received by January 19, 2025 at 6pm will be accepted. 
  


• $100 nomination fee (includes ticket for nominee at the May 7th awards dinner and all recognition materials).


• Digital headshot must be emailed to pr@hvmag.com (3”x 5”, 300 dpi).
