Hold onto your cowboy hats as "All American Boy" Steve Grand has been added to the entertainment line-up at at Nightmare on Hellsworth! The new, outdoor Halloween-themed dance party takes place on Friday, October 24 on Ellsworth Avenue in Shadyside.
Dubbed the "first openly gay country singer," Steve Grand and his band are thrilled to be returning to Pittsburgh following his performance at Pittsburgh PrideFest this past June. In 2013, Steve's first self-funded music video for "All American Boy" went viral instantly accumulating more than 1.5 million views in the first two weeks, and more than 2.75 million today. The Illinois-born entertainer recently made headlines with a steamy ALS Ice Bucket Challenge photo which garnered over 25,000 Facebook likes and 1500 shares. His first full-length album is due out this Spring.
Joining Steve Grand is British singer/songwriter Neon Hitch. Dubbed “gypsy pop,” Neon Hitch's sound is a passionate instrumentation of live drums, strings and the occasional horn fused with contagious pop hooks and irresistible melodies. Her latest single and video "Yard Sale" captures Neon moving forward and letting go of her past.
Just added to the line-up for the night is Erika Jayne and Gabrielle Ross. Having landed six number one slots on the Billboard Dance Chart, Erika Jayne ranks with the Pussycat Dolls and Rihanna for the most number ones on a debut release. Gabrielle Ross is enjoying huge success right now with the hit EDM single "Silent" with electronic dance music duo Paris & Simo. Her new album from Sony Records will be out in October.
Rounding out the night will be dance diva Reina and DJ/songwriter Ryan Skyy.
