Event Description

The National Aviary's signature fundraiser, Night in the Tropics, returns in July with a vibrant new theme: Rio! Spice up your summer with this energetic party!

Delicious light bites from more than 30 of Pittsburgh's favorite restaurants. Plus beer, wine, and specialty cocktails - all included with your ticket!

Electric live music performances by Pittsburgh Samba Group and Timbeleza, Pittsburgh's high energy Batucada band

Dancing under the stars to sultry Brazilian music with Kenia, Vera Hite, and lively Latin beats with DJ 007

Exclusive, up-close encounters with beautiful birds and access to immersive tropical habitats at night

All proceeds from Night in the Tropics support the National Aviary's education, avian medicine, and conservation programs both locally and internationally.

Ticket Options:

VIP Tickets - $150
Start the party early and gain admission at 6:00pm - a full hour before the general public. Ticket price includes free valet parking and VIP tent access featuring exclusive entertainment, food selections, and an additional open bar.

General Admission Tickets - $89
Doors open at 7:00 pm. Includes beer, wine, signature cocktails, and food.

General Admission Group Rate - $75
Buy 6+ General Admission tickets and receive a reduced rate of $75/ticket!

All guests must be 21 and over, and able to present a valid ID.

Tickets are non-refundable.

All guests can enjoy FREE parking at Rivers Casino with free shuttle service to and from the party throughout the night. Join the after party at Rivers Casino and enjoy $10 Free Slot Play or $10 Free Match Play (some restrictions apply)! Must be 21 or older to be on Rivers Casino property. Gambling problem? VIP Ticket holders receive complimentary valet service. Just show your ticket to the attendant when you arrive! Valet parking is also available for $20 for General Admission ticket holders.
