MOVINGCOMPANY: WERTHER AND LOTTE

A theatrical meditation on the innocent encounter, the misunderstandings and the riotous dance between Lotte and Werther as they navigate their tumultuous journey of love. A collaborative creation inspired by Goethe’s Werther and Thomas Mann’s Lotte in Weimar with music ranging from folk songs to art songs. Werther and Lotte will feature MOVINGCOMPANY principals CHRISTINA BALDWIN and NATHAN KEEPERS.

Directed by Dominique Serrand, with lights by Marcus Dilliard and costumes by Sonya Berlovitz.
