Event Description
Curb recording artist LEE BRICE has been tearing up the country music charts over the past few years as both an artist and songwriter. In 2007 he co-wrote the Garth Brooks single “More Than a Memory,” which became the first single in the history of the Billboard Hot Country Singles Charts to debut at #1. In 2009 Lee released the song “Love Like Crazy,” which again broke records. The song peaked at #3, but spent an impressive 56 weeks on the charts making it the longest charting song in the chart’s history. It also earned Billboard's Top Country Song of 2010. This month, Lee celebrated his first #1 single as an artist with “A Woman Like You.” Brice is set to release his sophomore album “Hard 2 Love” on Tuesday, April 24; which includes his current #1 song, and his next single “I Drive Your Truck.”
Opening the show will be MCA Nashville recording artist KIP MOORE. Kip blasted on to the country music scene in late 2011 with his single “Somethin’ ‘bout a Truck” which is currently sitting in the Top 10 and rising. In reminiscing on the writing of his breakthrough single, Moore recalls his small town life in Georgia saying “It was all you needed back then – a truck bed, a radio and good company with you.” Kip will also be releasing his debut album “Up All Night” on Tuesday, April 24th.
There is a separate gate admission into the fair not included in this ticket price.
