Charity Events by Jacqueline is proud to announce the fourth annual Education for Empowerment Jazz Festival – JAZZY JAM 2012, by founder and event producer Jacqueline Snell Brown and Honorary Co-Chair of Advisory Committe Councilwoman Jacque Robinson, City of Pasadena.

JAZZY JAM 2012 takes place Sat, May 26th, 2012 at Central Park, Old Pasadena. This year’s benefit concert will present live musical performances showcasing best in contemporary and traditional Jazz, Blues, R&B, Latin/Salsa and Afro-Cuban music on the scene today. The event will also offer a health pavilion, and a taste of spring food court and art and crafts displays.

This year as benefit concert will be hosted by 94.7 The Waves Pat Prescott and Featuring Kirk Whalum, Paris Escovedo Project, Polyester Players and the Jazzy Jam All Star Band featuring Donn Wyatt, Cornelius Mims, Mike Smith, Mark Allen Felton & more.

Proceeds from the event will support children and youth served by Charity Events by Jacqueline and Pasadena Arts Council.

*Please note: NO picnic baskets, coolers, umbrellas, canopies, backpacks, glass containers, cans, alcoholic beverages, audio recorders, video cameras, barbecue grills, bicycles or dogs will be allowed entry to the site. Festival-goers are encouraged to bring blankets, and/or low beach/lawn chairs. Plenty of food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Parking Information: Plenty of parking is available; metered spaces and public parking lots (prices vary) are conveniently located throughout Old Pasadena and within walking distance. The Del Mar Gold Line Station is the closest paid parking lot, directly across from Central Park, north of Del Mar on Raymond, 230 S. Raymond Ave.
