The Book Festival of the MJCCA invites you to join us for an afternoon dedicated to books and the love of reading with New York Times bestselling author James Patterson. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Mr. Patterson has had more new York Times bestsellers than any other writer, ever. Since his first novel won the Edgar Award in 1977, his books have sold more than 240 million copies. Since 2006, one out of every 17 hardcover fiction books sold has been a Patterson title.
Mr. Patterson is the author of the Alex Crossnovels (Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider) and the bestselling Women’s Murder Club novels. He is also the internationally bestselling author of Middle School, The Worst Years of My Life; the highly praised Maximum Ride novels; and the Witch & Wizard series. In 2010, he was selected by teens across America as the Children’s Choice Book Awards Author of the Year. As a lifelong champion of books and reading, Mr. Patterson is dedicated to finding creative and effective ways of spreading the joy of reading to all ages.
