Holiday Wine Tasting

 Located in the historic University Club right in the center of the University of Pittsburgh's campus, the Holiday Wine Tasting will be set in the imposing Gothic-inspired columned 1st floor Ballroom - also beautifully decorated for the holiday season!

For this special tasting, all guests will be able to enjoy 12 different wines located at several stations throughout the Ballroom. The wines will be a wonderful selection of various styles and varietals from around the world!

Also included are stations serving delicious food prepared from our talented kitchen. The following is the menu for the evening:

• Smoke Cured Pork Belly & Cipollini Onion Skewers w/ Brandy-Infused BBQ Sauce


• Merlot Braised Beef Pot Roast w/ Herbed Mushroom Ragout

• Romaine, Chick Pea & Tomato Salad w/ Lemon Ginger Vinaigrette

• White Chocolate Candy Cane Bark

The tasting will be in a cocktail-style setting, so make sure to invite your friends and dress for the season! Also be sure to take advantage of a great photo-op by getting your picture taken with friends and family in front of our stunning and historic spiral staircase with and adjacent beautifully decorated 14-ft Christmas Tree! 

The following wines below will be featured at the tasting. 10 of the wines are currently on Chairman's Selection at the Specialty Stores (we got them all from the East Side store on 12/10) at great prices. We are including the codes and price on every wine on your tasting sheet at the event. The other 2 wines are from the local Bridges Wine Co., and we will have the winemaker James McCeney himself pouring his wine!
