Event Description
Ever wondered what happened to the Peanuts gang once they grew up? Enjoying wild success at the 2004 New York International Fringe Festival DOG SEES GOD: Confessions Of a Teenage Blockhead tells the story of angst driven teen CB who just recently lost his dog to rabies, CB questions the existence of the afterlife, while dealing with his best friend who is too burnt out to provide any coherent speculation; his sister who is out of touch with reality; his recently institutionalized girlfriend; and his other friends who stay too inebriated to offer any kind of solace. But, through a chance meeting with an artistic kid, the target of his groups bullying, CB finds peace of mind and sets in motion a friendship that will push teen angst to the very limits. Drug use, suicide, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion, and sexual identity collide and careen towards and ending thats both hopeful and haunting.
