Conducting Workshop

This workshop is for middle and high school band and orchestra directors to enhance their conducting skills and musicianship. It is designed to enable each participant to reach their full expressive potential and increase their ability to effectively communicate their musical vision of the pieces they conduct to their school performing ensembles. Participants will enjoy opportunities to conduct college level performing ensembles (symphony orchestra and wind ensemble) as well as break-out sessions, discussions of effective rehearsal techniques for the school ensemble, musical and technical problem-solving within the rehearsal, stylistic considerations and much more.
