Monique Marvez:

Comedian, writer and radio and television personality - Monique and unique go hand-in-hand. Originally based in Miami, she has gone on to tour the world and appear on HBO, Comedy Central, ABC, Montel Williams, PBS and many more, as well as commissioning to develop a sitcom about her rollercoaster love life by Dick Wolf Productions / NBC Universal. Currently, Monique is starring in her own one hour stand-up comedy special, Monique Marvez: Not Skinny Not Blonde, based on her critically acclaimed book “Not Skinny Not Blonde,” airing on Showtime now.



Known for her biting sarcasm and raunchy wit, she has been nominated for an Alma Award for her Showtime Special, Latin Divas of Comedy, was handpicked by Barry Diller to be the face and late night host of his Miami television venture WAMI and was chosen by Eva Longoria as one of the original members of the ongoing comedy troupe The Hot Tamales Live!. She was also the voice of Jack FM San Diego for years and created the Monique and the Man radio show for Emmis Radio in Indianapolis.
