CDF Hip Hop Battle Registration

There is a $50 registration fee per crew to enter the battle. The winner of the battle will be determined by Audience participation and will receive a cash prize in the amount equivalent to the total number of registration fees received.

Eligibility:
Open to all residents of the United States of America.
Amateur and professional groups, five members or more -no individuals - may compete.
This is a Hip Hop Style dance competition; other styles will be accepted, but most of the dancing in the performance must be in a hip hop style.
Dance groups must fit into the following two categories:
Youth/Teen Division:
Any group where 90% or more of the performers are 17 years of age and younger. The remaining 10% may be over 17 years old. All groups must be represented by an adult 21 years of age or older (does not have to compete).

Adult Division:
Any group where 90% or more of the performers are 18 years of age and older. The remaining 10% may be younger than 18 years old. All groups must be represented by an adult 21 years of age or older (does not have to compete).
Please note: Individuals may compete ONLY ONCE as part of ONE dance group, however, individuals may be part of multiple exhibition performances throughout the evening. Studios may enter more than one group in each category.

Chaperones/Directors must be present with performers at check-in. Please contact our office if you have any questions regarding these divisions and which one you should enter.
