The horn-driven sounds of BlueStone Ivory rocked the Tri-state area from 1969 till 1976. The band was resurrected for a 30 year High School reunion in 1999.

Four decades and two Cammy Awards later almost everywhere BSI preforms, someone relates that our band played their prom or they remember us playing at Alexander’s in Clifton in the 1970’s.

BlueStone Ivory’s’ musical style and inspiration is derived from the great horn bands such as: Chicago, Tower of Power, Earth Wind & Fire, The Memphis Horns, Blood Sweat & Tears, The Blues Brothers and others.

BlueStone Ivory features five vocalists, and a three-piece horn section. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, BlueStone Ivory is one of the last remaining, truly “classic-style” rock-and-roll bands still in existence today.
