Don your vintage black and white attire and get ready for a night of feathers, intrigue and glamour. Sip martinis while you stroll the red carpet, strike a pose with a penguin, and dance the night away to DJ Loyal's mix. Before the curtain falls, purchase your tickets today!  

It’s a night partygoers will not soon forget:

The scene opens with fog rolling through the park and an owl hooting in the distance. The National Aviary’s Black & White Party is back and you are invited to join the birds on the red carpet.

- Buy the lady a drink: Purchase cocktails, wine, and ice-cold Victory Brewing Co. beer from the signature bar.

- Dinner for two: Atria’s will be serving up delectable bites for purchase throughout the night.

- Ruffle some feathers: Mingle with the flamingos in the theater

- The best tuxedos with tails in town: Take photos with the very well dressed African Penguins

- Better than the Maltese Falcon: Bid on the chance to be one of a few lucky guests who will have a Black Vulture, Lanner Falcon, or Hooded Vulture fly across the room and land on your hand.

- Capture the moment:  Visit the Shutterbooth photo booth, sponsored by Trib Total Media, and give your best James Dean or Marilyn Monroe pose.

- Let’s dance: Take a spin around the dance floor to DJ Loyal's mix.

- Explore the scene: The pelicans will be perched in the trees and the bats will be awake. See the National Aviary exhibits at night!

- Think you’re lucky?: Buy tickets to the 50/50 drawing and try your luck wise guy

Every dollar you spend on photos with penguins, drinks at the bar or participating in the 50/50 drawing supports the National Aviary's education, avian medicine, and conservation programs both locally and internationally. Your support helps us soar!

All guests must be 21 and over - Must have valid ID.

Early Bird tickets are just $15 thru September 6th, $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

This is a cash or donation voucher event. Visitors without cash can purchase donation vouchers upon entrance from a visitor services desk using credit/debit cards. Vouchers can also be purchased with cash if party goers need to make change. These vouchers can be used for the flamingo mingle, taking a photo with a penguin, and purchasing alcoholic beverages from the cash bar. Participating in the 50/50 drawing is cash only. Food can be purchased using cash or a card directly from Atria's. The National Aviary does not have an ATM on site.
