Event Description
"One of those masterpieces that engages both adults and children." The New York Post
Since it was first performed in 1951, Gian Carlo Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors has become an annual holiday tradition. The English-language opera tells the story of a poor shepherd boy and his mother, who experience a Christmas miracle when they are paid a visit by three kings on their way to see the Christ Child. This fully staged musical drama is appropriate for all ages and is a special way to celebrate the holiday season.
Alex Britton, Artistic Director
