Public House and the Chicago Artists’ Coalition have partnered to host an event blending two unlikely subjects: art and beer! On Wednesday, August 8th guests will be able to view and taste their way through a combination of contemporary art inspired by local craft beers. Five local artists were chosen to create an original artwork inspired by a local craft brew of their choice. The works will be on display during the event and guests will be able to sample the chosen beers and talk to the artists about their muses, as they vote on their favorite pairing. The winning pair of artist and brewery will be featured at CAC’s upcoming “Starving Artist” benefit (2012starvingartist.com) on October 6, which celebrates unique collaborations among our city’s local artistic and culinary innovators.
