2025 Self-Guided Field Trips

Plan your Self-Guided Field Trip at #FortEdmontonPark. Explore 150+ acres at your own pace, customize your itinerary, and choose activities that suit your group’s unique learning goals. Wander through our historic eras, ride the steam train and street cars, chat with costumed interpreters, and explore the Indigenous Peoples Experience!

Self-Guided Field Trips include Admission to the Park. You can book up to 30 students and 8 adult chaperones per class at a time.

*Please note, if booking for multiple classes, you must register on a separate booking. 

• From 10 to 30 students - Discounted rate of 19.80$ (+GST) per child (3-17) 


• Teachers & Chaperones - Free Admission (Max of 8 per group)

Tickets do NOT need to be physically printed for your group, you will be checked in by a staff member in our Front Entry Plaza upon your arrival.

The 2025 Fort Edmonton Park Summer Season officially opens on May 17, 2025 and operates Wednesday-Sunday & Holiday Mondays until September 14 2025.

Self Guided Field Trips run Wednesday - Friday from Wednesday May 21 until Friday August 29 2024.

• Bookings are closed ten days in advance of the day of the occurrence. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. 


• Payment is due upon booking your Self-Guided Field Trip.   


• During May/June Fort Edmonton Park will open the gates at 9:30 am for Self-Guided Field Trips early entry ONLY, please note that the Park itself will not be operational until 10:00am (Steam Train, Midway, Etc.)
