Bringing History to Life
Fort Edmonton Park takes you on an iconic journey through 158 acres of the city’s incredibly rich history, from the 1700s to the 1920s. Fort Edmonton Park is the largest living history museum in Canada, offering visitors authentic, immersive, and engaging experiences. Fort Edmonton Park's summer season runs from Saturday, May 17, 2025 - to September 14, 2025.

May and June
- Wednesday to Friday Hours: 10 am - 3 pm
- Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday Monday Hours: 10 am - 5 pm
July and August
- Wednesday to Sunday, and Holiday Mondays Hours: 10 am - 5 pm
September Weekends
- September 6, 7, 13, and 14
- Hours:10 am to 5 pm
Daily Admission Rates
Adult (18+) $31.00 (+GST)
Child/Youth (3-17)* $24.75 (+GST)
Senior (65+) $24.75 (+GST)
Family (2 adults & up to 4 kids) $112.00 (+GST)
*Children ages 2 and under are free but require a ticket to enter the Park so we are able to record admission numbers. Admission includes unlimited access to midway rides & games, train, and streetcar.

Pony Rides (10 & under) - $8.00
Wagon Rides - $8.00 (2 & under are Free)
Subject to cancellation in dangerous weather conditions (smoke, extreme heat, storms, etc.)

TICKETS and ADMISSION
Are tickets available in person at the front gate?
We encourage guests to purchase their tickets online in advance to guarantee them a space. We may also have a limited number of tickets available at the front gate, park capacity permitting.
Is my ticket refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable. However, we invite customers to exchange tickets for an alternative day during our 2025 General Admission Season.
Do I need a printed copy of my ticket?
We can scan both printed tickets and virtual tickets on smartphones/tablets.
Can I use my Leisure Access Pass to visit Fort Edmonton Park?
Yes! City of Edmonton Leisure Access Passes are accepted for free admission during our Summer Season. Leisure Access Passes are not accepted for private or ticketed events, such as DARK, Winter Wagon Rides, or the Xmas Market.
How many people does a Family Admission cover?
A Family Admission includes two adults and up to 4 children living in the same household.
What should I do if I have not yet received a booking confirmation email?

I want to bring a large group, are there discounts?

What is included in my admission ticket?
Each admission ticket includes unlimited access to midway rides & games, our steam train, and our streetcars. Please note that the availability of our train, streetcar, and midway rides may change due to maintenance needs and extreme/dangerous weather. Please speak with our front-entry cashiers prior to purchasing your ticket for the most accurate information regarding the status of these services.

Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, Open City Wi-Fi is available across our site.
Is smoking allowed on site?
Fort Edmonton Park is smoke-free. For the safety of you, staff, and other guests, we kindly ask you to reserve smoking in areas outside of our paid admission space.
Are animals allowed on site?
The only animals allowed on site are certified service animals.

Take Fox Drive onto Fort Edmonton Park Road and proceed to the parking lot.
