2024 Hocus Pawcus Canine Costume Contest

Time: 5pm to 7pm (winners announced at 6:30pm)
Location: WEC Exposition Center 2

Come out to World Equestrian Center – Ocala Saturday, October 26 from 5pm to 7pm for a barking good time at the second annual Hocus Pawcus Canine Costume Contest in Exposition Center 2. Dress your pup in their Halloween best and join the parade to compete for cash prizes, dog swag, WEC merchandise and more. Final selection for winners will take place live at 6:30pm.

Spend the day with your favorite furry friends and enjoy canine vendors and entertainment, as well as all your fall favorites for humans and pups from the WEC concessions and cash bars. Meet adoptable dogs from VOCAL and celebrate spooky season with us at this fun, free event! 

Pre-register your dog in advance online. To register, please select the number dogs you would like to enter into the contest, press regsiter and then complete the check-out process.  Walk-up participants will be accepted as space allows. 

Please Note:

• Dogs must wear a collar with ID tags and remain leashed and attended to at all times 


• Dogs must be current on all required vaccinations


• Please refrain from bringing in-tact male dogs, female dogs in heat or puppies less than 8-weeks old


• Owners will be responsible for all actions and any damages caused by their dogs 


• Owners must clean up after their dogs 


• Upon arrival, eligible, partipating dogs will be issued a registration number.
