Event Description

wîci-pimohtêminân - Walk with us

Walk with us on our journey of truth and reconciliation. Bring this knowledge, empathy and understanding into your classrooms. By embracing Indigenous ways of knowing and knowledge, we recognize our own perceptions and influences and we can identify points of growth within ourselves.

Through the award-winning Indigenous Peoples Experience, educators will engage in the foundational understandings of allyship and how to bring these teachings into a learning space.

Teacher Quality Standard

Whereas Alberta teachers play a fundamental role in establishing the conditions under which the learning aspirations and the potential of First Nations, Métis and Inuit students will be realized.
