Tours with a Halloween Twist 2012

Historic Tours with a Twist are approximately fifty-minutes and present the history of the stunning Gothic Revival Lyndhurst mansion and its inhabitants over a period of 120 years. In celebration of the season, some rarely seen historical objects are on display—as well as some quite unusual items for a typical historic tour. Barnabas Collins DID “live” here……

Historic Tours with a Halloween Twist are not recommended for Children under age 6. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Proof of age may be required.

This event has timed entry. Please arrive 20 minutes before the entry time stamped on your ticket in order to have time to park and check in.

Check-in for Historic Tours with a HalloweenTwist takes place in the tent by the parking area. You will be escorted down the path to the Mansion in time to enter.

Accessibility: Lyndhurst welcomes all visitors, but please note that all tours of Lyndhurst require walking on hilly grounds and the ability to be standing for approximately one hour. Only the first floor of the mansion is handicapped accessible Please alert Lyndhurst staff of any special needs in advance of your visit so we are best able to serve you. Limited parking is available for guests with special needs. If necessary, a motorized cart (driven by a Lyndhurst staff member) will be made available for guests.

• No large bags or backpacks will be permitted in the mansion.
• Please wear shoes appropriate for walking on the grounds.

Extreme Weather Policy: In the case of extreme weather (severe thunderstorms and lightning, tornado warnings, ice) tours may be interrupted, delayed or cancelled. Visitor Center staff will do their best to give advance notice, but this is not always possible. In the event that Lyndhurst cancels your tour for weather-related issues, we will endeavor to reschedule for a convenient date and time. If rescheduling a tour cancelled by Lyndhurst is not possible, Lyndhurst will offer visitors a refund for their tickets.
