Over the last year, the South Side Community Council has begun recording oral histories of former and current residents. Our focus this year has been on East Carson Street since 2018 is the 25th year of its historic designation by the City of Pittsburgh. As the South Side Voices project evolves, we'll continue to collect oral history interviews while we focus on different aspects of South Side's history. From churches and schools to bridges and mills, we're excited to uncover and record the history of the South Side with you!
