Tropidelic formed in 2007 along the banks of the Cuyahoga River in the murky town of Kent, Ohio. Fusing energetic reggae, hip-hop and funk, the group built a local following distributing over 5000 free copies of their first EP, "Rebirth of The Dope" on campuses and street corners throughout the region. In 2010, the group relocated to Cleveland and bolstered themselves as an area favorite through consistent performances at theater rooms and festivals supporting acts like Slightly Stoopid, 311, Pepper, The Dirty Heads, Sublime w/Rome, Soja & many more. Their 2010 release, "Erie Vibes & Irie Tides" received airplay on several area radio stations including CBS-owned 92.3 FM. In 2011, Tropidelic was chosen from a large national pool to perform at Bamboozle Festival in East Rutherford, NJ which boasts an annual draw of 50,000+ attendees. Their first full length album, "All Heads Unite" was released in November 2012. The roughneck Rust Belt reggae riders, along with their Tropidelic Family, continue to bring their Midwest party sound to festivals and venues throughout the Midwest & East.
