Also known as, Pittsburgh Extreme Radical Video (Kyle Van Noy, Gena Salorino, Michael Maraden, Scott Whiteman) PERV makes movies and shows them to small crowds. They do not program or curate. They had their first public screening in Pittsburgh in January 2012. But in a short time they’ve gained a dedicated following of spectators and contributors. They’ve presented their work at SxSW film fest, but prefer to stay more “underground.” They say anyone can be a PERV: make a film under 10 minutes and show up to screen it. PERV has received films and videos from artists such as Grant Singer, Damon Packard, Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, Lenny Flately, and Blackmagic Rollercoaster etc.
