Singer/Songwriter Andy Du Rego took his years of experience in the Blues & Rock scenes as a guitarist and has fused it with his life experiences to breathe life into the Black Suit Devil project. An ever-evolving project best described currently as Acoustic Soul is a fusion of the Folk, Roots, Blues & Soul genres. While the name Black Suit Devil would represent the corporate big wigs behind the worlds figurative curtains, Du Rego uses music as his medium to give voice to social injustice, current political affairs, and shed light on the states of humanity, among other things... Black Suit Devil has been touring Canada extensively since the 2017 release of "The Freedom Sessions" with two Eastern Canada and one Western Canadian tour

Performing at venues and festivals solo, as well as with band mates Neil Cameron on Violin, Liam Brown on Upright Bass, John Brand on Piano, and Costa Chatzis on Drums.

Both studio albums "The Freedom Sessions" (2017) and the upcoming "A Matter of Time" NOV 15th 2019 feature a host of Canadian talent such as Indigenous Music Award Nominee Ansley Simpson, Heavyweights Brass Band Drummer Lowell Whitty, and Guitarists Chris Staig & Nelson Sobral and Hammond Organ player Lance Anderson .

2019 has been the best year yet for BSD with a record number of shows performed including performing at this years Harvest festival in NB headlined by Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin and Nathaniel Rateliff .

Black Suit Devil had shared the stage with such notable artists as The Boxer Rebellion, Jeff Martin, Carole Pope, NEFE, Spencer Burton, SIMO,Philip Sayce and more.
