PITTSBURGH WINERY PRESENTS THE CHALK OUTLINES
Following their rafter-shaking sold-out performance in May, The Chalk Outlines will return to the Pittsburgh Winery on Saturday, October 18th for a special Halloween show.
The rough-and-tumble quintet cooks up a sound that's a tasty gumbo of primitive rock & roll and stomping r&b nuggets, flavored with a dash of rootsy country and a generous touch of New Orleans spice. Their original tunes, including such favorites as "I Might Be Drunk (But I'm Not Stupid)," "Kick me When I'm Down," "Hole in the Ground," and "Slop the Hog," are true to their down-and-dirty musical roots.
This show will be the band's second appearance at the Pittsburgh Winery's cellar stage. They feel very much at home being underground and surrounded by wine barrels. Guitarist Brian Gates said, "A cellar full of wine is actually the perfect place to be in the event of a zombie apocalypse."
TCO vocalist Wayno promises many appropriately spooky tunes in the evening's set, adding, "We're coming back to the Winery to run the voodoo down!"
The Chalk Outlines' last show at the Winery sold out THREE WEEKS in advance, so be sure to get your tickets early!
Doors open at 8:00. Showtime is 9:00 PM sharp. Halloween attire is encouraged.
The Chalk Outlines are:
Brian Gates (guitar & vocals)
Dave Klug (drums & vocals)
Hank Lawhead (guitar & vocals)
Jeff Stringer (bass & vocals)
Wayno (lead vocals & harmonica)
