Psycho Beach Party Benefit

Our Miss Dee is hosting a benefit screening of Psycho Beach Party!

Net proceeds of this event will benefit Shepherd Wellness Community, a safe, supportive community empowering people affected by HIV/AIDS to live with dignity.

Doors open at 7 PM and the film will be shown at 8 PM. Activities before the screening will include:
- Hula hoop contest
- Limbo contest
- Ginchiest beach wear contest - male & female categories
- Vintage horror movie trailers
- Silent auction - cash, check & credit card accepted for payment
- 50/50 raffle

Psycho Beach Party is a 2000 horror comedy film based on the off-Broadway play written by Charles Busch (who also wrote the screenplay). The movie is a parody of 1950s psychodramas, 1960s beach movies and 1980s slasher films.

Shepherd Wellness Community is the only AIDS Community Center in western Pennsylvania and the only AIDS community serving the 11-county region of southwestern Pennsylvania.
