Pop City's 5th Birthday Bash

Pop City invites you to celebrate its 5th anniversary on 5.11.11 at Pittsburgh's newest East End development, Bakery Square!

Experience local art and musical performances from Pop City's supporters and partners over the past five years. Expect the edgy, cool vibe you've come to know and love from Pop City.

Entertainment includes a live blues performance by Melinda (http://listentomelinda.com/), groovin' mix spun by DJ J. Malls ((http://www.myspace.com/j_malls), a special POP-era performance by Pittsburgh Opera (www.pittsburghopera.org) and a contagious dance performance by The Pillow Project. (http://www.pillowproject.org/)

Taste a special birthday cocktail by Clique Vodka, delectable wines from Engine House 25 Wine, and wide range of micro brews to please every pallet including: Yuengling Lager, Yunegling Light, Woodchuck Amber, Flyer Dog Doggy Style, Church Brew Works Dunkel, Brooklyn Brown, and Southern Tier 2X IPA.

Enjoy cuisine from local restaurants including Sausalido, Hofbrauhaus, Tusca, Penn Avenue Fish Company, Round Corner Cantina, and Franktuary. Savor your sweet tooth with poppin’ candy from Giant Eagle Market District and a birthday cake from Mimi’s Bake Shop. Text to win with SongWhale and enter to win prizes throughout the evening.

The event is 21+. IDs will be checked at the door. Tickets include food, cocktails, and entertainment. Limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $25; cash/check only. Profits from the event will benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

FREE Parking is available in Bakery Square's parking garage; on-site signage will be available to assist you.
