Uplifting, moving, funny and heartfelt – this is movie audiences are falling in love with. Based on a true story and eventual book written by journalist Martin Sixsmith, “Philomena” is the story of an upbeat, aging Irish woman (played by the always wonderful Judi Dench) assisted by the cynical Sixsmith (Steve Coogan) to track down the son she was forced to give up 50 years earlier as a teenager at the convent in County Tipperary.
