The final food event in the IMMA Summer Rising programme organised by Fiona Hallinan and Michelle Darmody will be a late harvest feast where chef Giles Clark will be cooking an early evening meal in the Meadow at the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
Giles will build a fire pit in the Meadow slowly cooking his stocks throughout the day. On arrival at 5:30pm guests will be served welcome cocktails by the fire and retire to eat at the long tables in the Formal Garden maze. Food will be served in a casual canteen style by Giles and other chefs based in Dublin.
To create this feast, Giles has been working in conjunction with artist Ruth Lyons. They have collaborated to create a unique work, which Ruth has done using rock salt brought back from salt mines in Antrim.
One hundred bookings will be taken for this event at 40 Euro per person. Cocktails will be served at 5.30.
