Beggars of Life, with live music by Daryl Fleming

As part of our Silents, Please! silent film series with live musical accompaniment, we are proud to present Beggars of Life,
starring Wallace Beery as a rail-riding hobo and Louise Brooks as a girl on the run. Based on a novel called Beggars of Life by Jim Tully, the film is often regarded as Brooks's best American movie.

Live musical accompaniment will be provided by Daryl Fleming & the Public Domain, who have performed with and scored silent films in the region and abroad.
