A special concert benefiting the Children's Organ Transplant Association in behalf of Patrick, a one-year old in need of an intestinal transplant.

Event Schedule
A silent auction will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Concert begins at 7:00 p.m.

Seating is not reserved, so plan to arrive early for the best seats.

Parking at Eisenhower Jr. High is limited. Overflow parking is available in Salt Lake Community College's northeast lots at the intersection of 4445 South and Redwood Road.

100% of profits from this concert and silent auction will be used for transplant-related expenses.

Who is Patrick?
Patrick is a vibrant, happy, friendly one-year-old.
Born in October 2008 with only 15 centimeters of viable small bowel, doctors questioned whether or not Patrick would live a day. Instead of struggling, though, Patrick thrived. He was adopted by his parents, Brian and Emily when he was a week old and brought home to Utah a month later.

Diagnosed with Short Gut Syndrome, Patrick's parents were told that Patrick would survive, at most, a couple of years without an intestinal transplant. He is completely dependent on TPN ( IV nutrition ) for survival which puts him at risk for infection and liver failure, among other complications. He is frequently hospitalized and has already fought through many life-threatening illnesses as a result of his Short Gut Syndrome, including a cardiac arrest that nearly took his life.

Patrick is currently listed for an intestinal transplant at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Although his family has good insurance and a stable income, it is estimated that they will need $70,000 to cover the cost of co-pays, travel, and other expenses associated with his transplant.

Charley Jenkins Charley was raised in Eastern Utah where life on the Jenkins farm revolved around cows, horses, and rodeo. In 2001, He moved to Nashville. He was able to work on Music Row for a song writing publishing company. In 2004, He came back home to help with the farm and to be with my father who was battling cancer. The “Round Here” album is a tribute to his father, and he wrote the song “Hero At Home” for him. In August of 2007, He released the album “Ridin’.” His latest album, "Hold On," was just released this summer. In the summer of 2008, Jenkins had the opportunity to be one of 12 finalists to compete on Nashville Star, which aired on NBC. He was also invited to be on the Today Show. He has opened for many top country headliners including LeAnn Rimes, Lonestar, Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler, Taylor Swift, Josh Turner and many others. www.charleyjenkins.com

Steven Sharp Nelson Steven is no stranger to the stage and is sought after by other performing artists and recording studios. He has recorded on over 100 different albums. He was nominated as the best instrumental musician of the year by the FCMA. His first solo album, Sacred Cello (2006), was among Billboard's top 20 classical recordings in the world, next to artists such as Yo Yo Ma. Sacred Cello also received a Pearl Award for Best Instrumental Classical Album.
